Beauty UK Eye shadow palette in SOHO

Hello beautiful ladies,

Today I will be reviewing a colorful eyeshadow palette from the brand Beauty UK. I did not know about the brand till I received one of its blushes in my Fab Bag and then I received their eye shadow palette too. These eyeshadow palettes come in 3 different shades and I already have 2 of these. I received one of the palettes in my Fab Bag and the other one I purchased from their site. The color I have for you today is called Soho and it is the colorful eyeshadow palette from the brand.

My take on the product:

The palette has 10 different shadow shades ranging from bright yellow and orange to blues and greens. Think of a color family and you have it in this palette. As it is a bright colored palette it does not have a white or a black shade neither does it have a brown. So this is not basically a palette that can be used for creating dark looks but this is more of a spring appropriate palette. Each palette comes with long dual sided sponge applicator which is not exactly of great use, but comes handy for touch ups.

The palette comes in a rectangular packaging with shadows in circular pans. The palette has a transparent lid which is quite sturdy and travel friendly too.

All the colors in the Soho palette are bright fun colors and all of them contain shimmers, but when applied on lids, the shimmers are not visible in every color. The brightest pink comes out to be matte and no shimmer is seen at all. The palette contains 3 shades of blue, out of which sky blue and one of the dark blues give satiny finish. Pigmentation of some colors is better than the others. Out of the 10 colors in Soho, I found 4 colors better pigmented than others, but unfortunately they of them come as bright on the eyes as they appear in the pan or on the hand. But if I have to select most pigmented color, it would be the pink (the one on top left corner) and least pigmented would be dark blue (the one on top right corner).

Texture wise, the colors are smooth to apply and easy to blend, they do not give any harsh lines on application nor did I face any fallout issue. More pigmented colors have better staying power than some of the not so pigmented ones. Some colors might stay up to 4 hours while some other struggle to stay even for 2 hours. The staying power of the color increase by the use of a primer, and the primer does make them stick little longer to the lids, but it might not help in the fading of the colors.

Overall I can say that this is just a decent palette, nothing too great, but this is a good buy for people who want to try bright colors without spending much on them.
