Hello, all the beautiful ladies!
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Maybelline lip gradation lip color. I am reviewing the shade orange1 in this post. Maybelline is famous for great makeup at an affordable price! Being obsessed with the matte lip color, I have bought some of these lip colors with high expectations. Let’s see how the lip gradation lip color fared on me.

Maybelline lip gradation lip colors come in eight different shades and the packaging is really nice as well as attractive. I was kind of bored with previous Maybelline lipstick packaging but this time they didn’t give any chance to complain about it. Anyway, it comes in a twist open pen form and the body color of the stick denotes the shade of the lip color. Packaging is no doubt travel-friendly and both the caps are tight enough. The stick comes with a smudger which is also covered by a transparent cap. The smudger is not velvety soft but yes, it is soft enough to apply on the lips.
The shade orange 1 is a bright shade of orange which could be suitable for most of the Indian skin tones, though I am not very sure about very dark tones. The popping orange shade is so summery and can be used throughout the springs and summer. This is insanely pigmented and I am really in love with these as these fulfill my two most important criteria for a lipstick: well pigmented and matte finish! it gives intense color in just a single swipe!
It gives a matte finish on the lips without making the lips dry. The creamy formula makes it very comfortable and I barely feel any dryness after applying it. The smell is nothing worth mentioning. It is long lasting and survives meals too. It lasts for almost whole day but after meals, it just fades from the inner rim of the lips.
Pros of Maybelline New York Lip Gradation Lip Color Orange 1:
- Budget friendly
- Nice packaging
- Intense pigmentation
- Long lasting power
- Matte finish
- Creamy texture
- Doesn’t feel uncomfortable on lips
Cons of Maybelline New York Lip Gradation Lip Color Orange 1:
- May not suit very dark skin tones as the color is bold and bright
Is it worth trying?
Okay, I am really happy with the lip gradation range and in my opinion, these are worth trying.
