L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation is one of the most loved drugstore foundation and everyone on the internet seems to love the product. It is not exactly super affordable, but is priced much less than many high end foundations. After reading so many reviews I was sure that I’ll love the product too, but unfortunately, the product didn’t work that well for me.
Currently priced at INR 1400 for 30 ml product (I bought it for INR 1325 few months back)
L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation comes in a square shaped glass bottle with a pump. I love the fact that the product contains a pump as it makes the product not only more convenient to use, it is more hygienic too. The shade number and name are mentioned on the top of the cap. There is nothing too amazing about the packaging, but it is practical and can be taken for travelling too. Tough care must be taken as it is a glass bottle.
The Infallible Reno Liquid Foundation by L’oreal Paris is a zero compromise foundation with 24 hour stay and maximum coverage.
- It is totally touch proof, resists extreme humidity and erases imperfections without drying out skin.
- This foundation’s texture is perfect for brush application.
- It glides over the skin, sets effortlessly and delivers ultimate coverage without a layered effect.
My take on L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation:
Whenever I apply my foundation, I do so expecting medium coverage. I am not a full coverage girl and I want my foundation to give me some coverage. This is actually the only department in which this foundation works for me. But if you are someone who require full coverage then this not be best suited for you. This foundation does not work well on scars or freckles. I am not a fan of layering this foundation as it tends to make my skin super dry and patchy.
It does not even stay put on me. I have an oily t zone and no matter which primer I use, this foundation simply refuses to stay on and around my nose, leaving a not so good looking nose. Thanks to the SA who recommended or rather forced this particular shade on me, not even the shade works for me. The shade I am currently using is 145 Beige Rose and it is a bit too light for me.
So, if the product is not working on me, so what do I use it for? I do not like to throw my products if I don’t like them. I actually consider giving them to someone in my family, but in this case the colour is too light for everyone in the family who might be interested. So, in order to finish up the bottle, I tend to use it on my neck area (which always seems to be darker than my face) and also on my back and stomach (in case I want to flaunt a saree). The foundation looks absolutely perfect in these areas.
- Decent coverage
- Good for people looking for a matte finish
- Made my skin look dry and patchy
- Not the right shade for me (the darker shade is little too dark)
- Did not blend well on me (tried with every kind of tool I have)
- Made my pores look bigger
- Pricey for a drugstore brand
Would I buy L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation again?
No! L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation simply refuses to work for my skin. I am sure that I would not buy it again.
Do I recommend L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation?
If you have large pores or may be super sensitive skin like mine, it might not work for you. But it does have worked for many other girls. So, I would suggest that if you want to spend your money on this foundation, just go to the store and try the product on your skin before buying.
