When we talk about skin care, it’s not only about caring for your skin during the day time, in fact caring for skin at night is much more important as night is the time when skin gets full time to replenish itself without any external dust or any other factor. So, having a proper night time routine is as important as having a daily skincare regime. Today I will be sharing with you all my experience on one such night care product from Lakme. The product I am talking about is Lakme Youth Infinity Skin Firming Night Crème.
A few days back I wrote about the day cream from the same line and how I didn’t like it. You can find the review HERE. Read out the review to find my feelings about the night cream.
Product quantity: 50 gm
Price: Initially priced at 699, but now the price has been raised to Rs 725 (BUY HERE)

My take on Lakme Youth Infinity Skin Firming Night Crème:
Just like the day cream, the night cream too comes in a shiny violet and silver colored packaging, but here the colors are reversed with violet as the lid color and silver as the tub color. This type of tub packaging has advantages and disadvantages at the same time. They are good as no product gets wasted in these tubs, even the last amount of product can be used. But on the other hand some people can find tub packaging to be unhygienic and for girls like me who has long nails, picking up the product without making it enter your nail sometimes becomes a task.
The company claims that as the cream is formulated with Insta-Collagen boosters, it tightens the skin elasticity and the illuminating pearls give a fairer brighter look. The claim of the cream having anti aging properties is not exactly true as I did not find much difference in the texture of my skin, nor did I find much difference in the fine lines. I am in my late twenties and the only reasons of this cream not working on me that I can assume are that either the claims are not completely correct or that the cream is meant for older ladies. Whichever of the above may be true the fact is that it did not do anything for me as far as the anti aging thing is concerned.
But yes the cream did make my skin feel softer after consistent application. It has the same consistency as that of the day cream but thankfully it does not leave a white cast on my face nor does it make my skin feel dry. It might not be the perfect cream with amazing moisturizing capability but it does work fine.
Pros of Lakme Youth Infinity Skin Firming Night Crème:
- Beautiful Packaging
- Did not break me out
- Made my skin felt softer after consistent use
- Did not leave a white cast on my face
- Does not feel heavy
Cons of Lakme Youth Infinity Skin Firming Night Crème:
- The day cream had the list of ingredients present on a label pasted at the base of the tub, but this one does not have any information about the ingredients.
- Did not perform well on the anti-aging claim
- A bit Pricey
- No ingredient list
Would I buy this product again?
No, I have found a better alternative to my night care regime
Do I recommend this?
Only if you want to try something from this line, but don’t expect the product to do wonders on your skin except making it soft that too with consistent use.

I dislike products that don’t have the ingredients listed on them. Especially since I have sensitive skin. Great review.

I never use night creams, but when you said it has pearls to illuminize skin, I would like to use it during the day. But then you said you wouldn’t buy it again, and this is enough 🙂 I trust your opinion! Though I am eager to try Lakme products!
