Blue Heaven is an Indian brand which has a huge range of products sold at an affordable range. Months back, I wrote about a lip balm that I bought from Blue Heaven called Bubble Gum which looks similar to EOS lip balms. I have also tried lipsticks from Blue Heaven and I found them good for the price. So, I thought of trying some other products from the brand, which made me buy one of their eye shadow quads. Blue Heaven sells these eye shadow quads in a number of color options but none of them have any name. The one I will be reviewing today is ‘Blue Heaven 4×1 Eye Magic Eye Shadow number 602’.

My take on Blue Heaven 4×1 Eye Magic Eye Shadow in shade 602:
The 4 shadows are packed each inside a quarter shaped pan making it circular packaging. The lid of the container is a transparent one but is too flimsy to take with you for traveling but as the product is pretty affordable I did not expect anything too great in the quality of the packaging. No brushes or mirror are provided with the quad.
The color selection in the quad is fine; nothing great can be said about the colors. 2 of the 4 colors are sparkly (with minute sparkles), while the other two have a pearly finish. As the quad does not contain a matte color, it is really difficult to pull off a complete eye look using just this product. The color looks decently pigmented when swatched with fingers, but once you try to blend it with brush colors looses their pigmentation.
Texture wise, the colors seem soft and creamy and no glitter can be felt. But unfortunately, the shadows have a massive fallout issue. Dip your brush in the pan once and no product comes on it, dip it 3-4 times and a hell lot of product is present while disappears as soon as you try to tap the excess. The colors are built able, but it requires time and patience to get the desired color.
The shadows are super easy to remove as no work has to be done in order to remove it after 2-3 hours. The colors start to fade in the very first hour of application, and with 3 hours, it magically disappears. The colors do not crease on the lids, for whatever little time they stay there.
Overall, I personally did not like the product. Yes, it’s very affordable, but I still don’t feel its worth the effort.
Would I buy this product again?
Though I wanted to try multiple other shades, considering this one, I am definitely not going to buy another one of these.
Do I recommend this?
Only if you liked a certain color in these are you are ready to spend a lot of time in applying your makeup.
