Almost every other cosmetic brand in the market have some sort of lip crayon as one of their lip products and the brand Faces Canada is no different. Faces Canada introduced their Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayons more than 4 years ago and since then the product and the formula is going strong. Recently the brand introduced their mini version of the same lip crayon which look pretty much the same as their bigger versions, the only difference being the slightly smaller size. Today’s review would be about ‘Faces Canada Mini Lip Crayon Red Fantasy (03)
I bought 3 of the shades from the collection as soon as they were launched. The other two shades I have from the collection are Irresistible Pink (11), and Divine Rose (12).

These mini lip crayons from Faces Canada are in collaboration with Kriti Sanon and that is what the outer packaging says. The outer box of the crayon is red in color and it contains all the required information about the product. The shade name is mentioned on the side of the box.
Now, coming to the actual crayon, the pencil is very small in size (almost the size of my palm), and it has a floral pattern made on it. The pencil is color-coded and has a black colored lid. The lid is tight enough to secure the tip of the product which makes these pencils travel friendly. These pencils come with their own sharpener which is also a part of the outer red packaging. Now, as both the pencil and the sharpener are packed in the outer box, the size of the box is pretty big as compared to the size of the actual crayon.
My Experience with Faces Canada Mini Lip Crayon Red Fantasy:
The shade Red Fantasy, as the name suggests, is a red, but it is not a true red shade. Red Fantasy is more of a deeper red which is a perfect color to pair with Indian attires. The color might look good with certain western looks too (especially in the fall season), but I personally like to use such shades with my Indian dresses and sarees. This is not exactly an everyday color but it certainly looks beautiful on the majority of skin tones.
The formula of the shade is super pigmented. A single swipe is sufficient enough to get a fully opaque lip and it is super lightweight too. It is a lip crayon and not a liquid lipstick, hence it is not super long-wearing (cannot last the whole day) and it is not transfer-proof. But the formula is easy to reapply and it does not become patchy on re-application.

For the price point, these mini lip crayons are an amazing buy. They are good for everyday use and very easy to travel with. For a mini size product, the quantity you get is also amazing. It is certainly a yes from me!

another great shade.. i loved that they launched mini versions, now i can get multiples ..i really loved the formula..
