Products I am Trying to Finish: Eyeshadows

Hello beautiful Ladies,

In my series of products I want to use up, today I will be sharing will you all some of the eyeshadows that I would really want to use. Some of the shadows are new and some are really old. I know that it would take me ages to finish all the shadows, but I know that if I will keep using them daily, I would be able to finish at least 2-3 of them. So here is my list of shadows that I would like to use up 🙂

1. Aziza II

This is the first ever eyeshadow palette I ever bought. The palette contains 6 different shades and all are perfect to create a everyday look. They are actually great to create a smoky look. I have been using this palette every day since the past month and I am glad to see that I am about to hit the pan in 2 of the shades.

2. Alobon Makeup (Item No ABL6)

This is another brand which I haven’t heard of, but most probably it is an Asian drugstore brand.  I got this shadow from Singapore. The shadow is huge and will definitely take some efforts to get used up.

3. NYX Eyeshadow base (ESB01) Buy Here

I have this in the shade white and I use this everyday to make my shadow color stand out. It really helps the shadows to stay longer on the lids.

4. MUA Makeup Academy Eyeshadow ( Shade-22 Pearl)

This is a beautiful pearly eyeshadow that can be used every day to get a soft look which is perfect for office. I haven’t used it much yet but I am making it a point to use it as much as I can.

5. MUA Makeup Academy Eyeshadow ( Shade-16 Matt) Buy Here

This is a beautiful peachy toned shadow which unfortunately is not very pigmented. But as it is not very pigmented, it is perfect for daily use, to get pretty open eyes. The color looks just perfect for the days when you want to look good but does not want your makeup to be visible.

6. Accessorize Merged Eyeshadow (Golden Caramel) (Buy Similar Here)

This is one of the most beautiful shadows I have and is my most recently bought one from the stack. The product is 3 gm, and I know that I would never be able to finish it, but I have kept this shade in this pile as I want to use it as much as I can, as it is a beautiful everyday color. I like shimmers on my eyes and this color gives the most beautiful shimmers without looking overdone.

Products 7, 8 and 9 Illuminate eye crayon from Oriflame (Silver Frost, Green Forest, Purple Mist)

I have had these shadow sticks since the time I started using makeup, these are old and I haven’t actually used them much. These shadow sticks are very creamy and extremely easy to use. I am sure that if I will use these regularly, I soon will be able to finish them.

10. MUA Makeup Academy Eye dust (Shade6) Buy Here

This is another shade that I know that I am never going to finish, then why do I have it in my stash? Almost every color I selected is a light color and I really wanted something dark for my crease or outer corner and so I kept this color in my daily/to be finished stash.

I am trying not to buy anymore product until I finish some of these, but I really am not sure until when would I be able to control myself J

  1. I would like to try the NYX eye shadow and the illuminate eye crayon from Oriflame – a brand that I didn’t know before you wrote it here and if you could review it, it would be nice!

  2. I find it so extremely difficult to ever finish a makeup product. Skin care, cleansers and moisturizers go very easily, but the makeup… it hangs around for ages and I usually end up throwing it away, as it gets to stale. Which is a shame, especially when it’s a good quality product.

All your shadows come from very good labels and it’s good that you’re trying to get the most out of them! 🙂
