A couple of years ago, Maybelline came up with an affordable blush with the name of ‘Cheeky Glow’ which I used when I was in college. Now, Maybelline has improved the formula and hiked up the price a tad bit and re-launched it as ‘Color Show’. So, when Nykaa went on sale I knew I wanted to retry this product. So, today I’ll be taking about ‘Maybelline Color Show Blush Peachy Sweetie’

My experience with Maybelline Color Show Blush Peachy Sweetie:
Maybelline Color Show Blush is an ideal choice for an everyday blush as well as parties. I tried using this blush for both. For an everyday look, I applied a little bit just to add some color to my face after applying my BB cream and compact. It looks absolutely natural on me. For a night out with my girls, I just deepen the blush for a more dramatic look. I love how I can control the amount of product I put on my face. Even if I apply too much product, this blush is so easily blended with extra dabs of my beauty blender (this is an extra step to my makeup routine, which helps to blend in the blush and gives a natural flush to my face).
The best part about this affordable Maybelline blush is that it is ‘non-comedogenic’. Which simply means it won’t clog facial pores. I have acne-prone skin which means if the products clog my pores I breakout. So happy to use this product without worrying about pimples.
Pigmentation: This blush is highly pigmented, so follow the rule less is more when using it.
Texture: The Texture of this product is super smooth and creamy. Even though it has intense pigmentation the blush is easily blendable. The finish is, however, matte. This blush is good for people with dry skin too, as it gets absorbed into the skin and prevents flakes on dry patches of the skin.
Staying Power: Blushes often tend to fade quickly. But as mentioned before, this Maybelline product is highly pigmented. So, this stayed on my face intact for 5-6 hours.
Pros of Maybelline Color Show Blush Peachy Sweetie:
- Amazing staying power
Cons of Maybelline Color Show Blush Peachy Sweetie:
- No mirror & no applicator
I would definitely recommend this product as it suits Indian skin tone really well and is super affordable.
