L'oreal Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick I Am Worth It (105), Review

I love trying lipsticks, but the brand L’Oreal is not one of the brands I usually gravitate towards. The main reason being I do not usually get too attracted towards the way they market their products and I usually get intrigued to buy something new if I like the way it is marketed. This might seem to be a shallow approach to some but this is how it works for me. A couple of months back, L’Oreal came out with their version of liquid lipsticks and I really got excited to try them. There were 7 shades that were launched in India and I bought 2 of them. I have already reviewed the shade ‘I Rule‘ from the collection and today I will be sharing my experience about L’Oreal Liquid Lipstick I am worth it.

L’Oreal liquid lipsticks come in a regular black colored outer box which contains the details about the product including the list of ingredients. The actual tube of the lipstick is a beautiful semi-transparent tube with a small black colored lid. The brand name is mentioned on the lid. The packaging of the lipstick makes it somehow look luxurious. I like the way the wand of the lipstick is built and the whole appeal of the lipstick.

My Experience with L’Oreal Liquid Lipstick I am worth it:

The shade ‘I am Worth It’ is the red shade from the collection. Though the color does have beautiful pigmentation, it is not exactly fully opaque. 2 layers of the color give a beautiful red shade to the lips but as it is not completely matte it looks more like a more pigmented red gloss. Though it does look like a gloss, once dry, it does not get transferred and hence have a good staying power.

I am worth it is one of the reds which is good to be used for everyday use as well as for parties. It is one of the shades which can be used by ladies of all the ages and skin tones. The formula of the lipstick is very smooth and creamy to apply. It is not like any other liquid lipstick available in the market. The formula is not drying nor super long-lasting. It is somewhat in between the formula of a regular lipstick and a super drying super long-lasting liquid lipstick. After around 4-5 hours or after a big meal, the color starts to fade from the inner section of the lips giving lips a beautiful red tint.

Overall Verdict:

Overall, I would say that if you are looking for a matte, super long-lasting lipstick, then this not might be the formula for you. But, if you are looking for a beautiful red lipstick which is not very drying on the lips and is easy on the pocket too, then the shade ‘I am Worth It’ is definitely worth a try.
