Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Nude Lips (05): Review and Swatches

Blue Heaven is one of the most affordable brands available in the Indian Market. The brand has everything you would require for a full face of makeup. I have tried some of their products and I especially loved their Non Transfer Lip colors. These lip colors are basically liquid lipsticks which seem to like a regular bullet lipstick. There are a total of 6 colors available out of which I have already reviewed 2 red shades: Scarlet Red and Raspberry Love. Today I will be reviewing another shade from the collection, but this time it’s their Nude shades. The product I have today is ‘Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Nude Lips’.

Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Colors comes in a regular bullet looking packaging which makes it just like any other regular affordable lipstick available in the market. But what makes it really different from others is the wand. Yes! it is not a regular bullet lipstick, but it is a liquid lipstick with a wand and applicator attached to the lid. I personally liked the fact the brand has done something different to make the product look amazing.

My Experience with Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Nude Lips:

I so far have loved both the shades I have tried. I love the formulation, the staying power and even the feeling the product gives to my lips. But unfortunately, the shade Nude Lips is a bit different.

Firstly, the shade did not flatter me at all. I actually looked like a zombie with no lips and no life when I had this lip color on. Secondly, the formula of the color is also kind of different from the other shades in the collection. While the other shades are not very drying and are opaque, this particular color made my lips super dry (even with a lip balm) and was not as opaque as one would want. Two layers of the color do the work but applying the second layer not only makes the lips drier but also makes them look cakey.

Staying power of the shade Nude Lips is as good as the other shades but after some time it settles into fine lines and makes the lip look even worst.

Final Verdict:

Overall, I am not at all impressed with the color ‘Nude Lips’ and I actually hate the way it looks on me. The color might seem to work over a dark color lipstick to soften it down but being a liquid lipstick it does not gel too well with other lipsticks. I love some other colors form the line but this particular color is a pass for me and I would not recommend this to anyone.
