Sleek Makeup Blushes Life’s a Peach and Pixie Pink

Hey Girls,

Today I will be talking about 2 of my new purchases that I brought from an international site. I always wanted to try products from Sleek cosmetics but I never got a chance to do so. Few days back when I was placing my order I saw these babies and so ordered them too. The products I am talking about are 2 of the blushes from Sleek Cosmetics. The shades I have are called Life’s a Peach and Pixie Pink.

These blushes retail for $6.99 for a quantity of 8 gm. Company claims these blushes to be highly pigmented and smooth to apply. These are available in variety of finishes and enable us to create an array of stunning looks. Ingredients present in the blush are mentioned on the back of the packaging. just like the name of the company the packaging of these products is sleek too, they come in a sleek black packaging with a mirror on the inner side of the lid. The blush is easy to open until you have long nails, which may come as a problem while opening the blush. The blush does not come with any brush or applicator, which I am not really unhappy about as I generally do not tend to use the brushes that come with the products.

Life’s A Peach:

It is an orange looking blush which gives a natural peachy glow to the cheeks. The blush does not have any shimmers which makes it appropriate for daily use. The pigmentation of the blush is not so great and so 3-4 coats of the color are required to get the desired color. The color might not even show up on darker skin tone ladies. The color is soft and easy to use and stays on the cheeks for a decent amount of time.

 Pros:

• Nice sturdy packaging (might be little difficult to open initially, but this becomes better after some use)
• Comes with a mirror
• Beautiful everyday color
• Easy to blend
• Soft and silky texture
• Decent price

Cons:

• Color might not show up on ladies with a darker skin tone
• Not so amazing pigmentation
• Not so good staying power

Pixie Pink:

It is a bright candy colored pink blush which is brighter in the pan as compared to when applied onto the skin. The color is decently pigmented and 2 coats of the product are sufficient to get bright colored cheeks. But thankfully the blush is super blendable and you won’t end up looking like a joker. The blush does not have any shimmers which makes this too an everyday color. The shade is perfect to give a Barbie pink glow to the face. Staying power of this blush is better than Life’s a Peach and can stay for a little more than 4 hours without touchups.

Pros:

• Not too pricy
• Good quantity for the price
• Elegant and sleek packaging
• Easy to blend
• Bright colored blush that gives a natural Barbie pink flush to the cheeks
• Not tested on animals
• Stays for a long time

Cons:

• The lid might be little difficult to open initially especially if you have long nails.
