Orly Brush-On Glue

Orly Brush-On Glue Review

I love having natural long nails, but they are really difficult to manage and tend to break quite often. While watching a nail artist on youtube, I came to know about nail glues and after searching Nykaa I came across this Orly Brush-On Glue. I was not too sure whether this product would work as shown on the channel or not, but this was the only thing I was able to find and so I bought this.

Orly Brush-On Glue comes in a little white plastic bottle which kind of looks like a fabric glue to me. The cap has an attached brush to it, like a regular nail polish which helps to apply the product (glue) on the cracked nail.

My Experience with Orly Brush-On Glue:

I bought this nail glue when one of my nails cracked from the very base. I have not kept my nails short for almost 3 years and I didn’t want to cut all of them short, so I ordered this. The product took around 2 days to get delivered and by that time I tried keeping my cracked nail secure with nail stickers.

I really wanted this thing to work and initially, it did work well. The product is easy to apply. Like a regular nail polish, this too has a brush and all you need to do is swipe on the glue on the desired area and wait for it to dry. I did the same, in fact, to be extra secure I layered the product twice. I even applied a thick layer of nail polish to hide everything and make the crack extra secure.

Orly Brush-On Glue

My nail was looking good on the first day and it almost felt that it was never broken. As I saw on the youtube channel, I wanted to glue my cracked nail till a point it reaches slightly above the base (which was expected to take at least 2 weeks). But this did not happen. On the second day, I started seeing the crack from my thick nail polish layer and by the end of the day, the nail was cracked again. I removed everything and repeated the whole procedure again, and it worked well again for a day.

After trying this for a couple of times, I finally decided to let my nail go.

Final Verdict:

I don’t have too much to say about this product as it is just a nail glue which is meant to be your lifesaver in case of a nail break. I don’t think that it exactly does what it says, but it can save your nail for a special occasion (just for a day or maybe two if you decide to reapply)
