MAC Haul: Wet and Dry Collection

Hello Beautiful Ladies !

I am really excited about today’s post as today I will be sharing with you what I got from MAC’s latest collection. The collection is called Wet and Dry and the products were launched in India Yesterday. I went to the mall as soon as I received the information about the launch of the collection and to my surprise, more than half of the products were already sold out 🙁 Thankfully I was able to some of the products I wanted. So here is what I got from the collection.

The main reason I wanted this collection was for its packaging, look how adorable the packaging is. I know that MAC’s limited edition collections are a bit pricey as compared to normal MAC products, but where can you get such cute packaging.

I got a bronzing powder, 2 shadow trios, a lipglass and an eye liner from the collection. Unfortunately all of the 4 shades of the lipstick were sold out so I wasn’t able to get any lipstick in this beautiful packaging, but one of the lipsticks from the collection was a permanent one and so I got the shade called Morange in the regular packaging.

1. MAC Studio Sculpt Defining Bronzing Powder

Price: Rs 2100

2. MAC Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadows in Permanent Press and Warm Wash

Price: Rs 2600 each

These trios come in 3 different shades, I got two of them. When I went to buy these I already knew about them and I actually went to buy the 3rd color but the first thing the SA told me was that color won’t suit my skin tone, as it had a beautiful lime green. Initially I was attracted by the lime green but then I realised that I won’t be able to use that color much and so spending so much on something that i might not use regularly is illogical, so I ended up buying these two shades.

3. MAC Lipglass in Hot/ Cold

Price: 1590

This was the only lip product that was not out of stock, I liked the color and so I bought this. I was lucky enough to get this, as this was the last piece and it went out of stock as soon as I got it.

4. MAC Technakohl Liner in Coin Operated

Price: 1200

5. MAC Lipstick in Morange

Price: Rs 1450

This is not a limited edition color, but the first time I saw this color was in the collection, so I decided to get this in the usual packaging.

I really wanted to get my hands on the highlighter but unfortunately it was out of stock. The mascara, nail polishes and one of the two blushes were in stock but the blush color was too light for me and I didn’t want to spend so much on a mascara or a nail polish, so I didn’t buy any of those.

The collection would have been out of stock in many of the places by now, but they might still be available in some of the bigger MAC stores. So if you like the collection, go as soon as possible to get your hands on the collection.
