My take on Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon in Peach Magnet:

The lid of the crayon is tight and safe to travel with. One of the things that I like most about the product is that it comes with its own sharpener. Yes, the color gets wasted while sharpening, but at least I can sharpen it easily. It is black colored crayon with a sticker pasted over the crayon which contains all the details about the product including the name of the product.

As assumed by the name, the shade Peach Magnet is a peachy pink colored lip crayon. The color is decently pigmented, but if you have pigmented lips, this might not show on you. I have averagely pigmented lips and it was barely visible on my lips. The color though looks beautiful when swatched on hand.

The formulation is soft to use and moisturizing too. But the staying power of the shade is pathetic. One, it does not show up properly, second, it gets easily transferred. Both of which owes to the poor staying power of the color.

Overall thoughts:

I am glad that Lakme came out with something so affordable, and the range does have some beautiful colors. But this particular color did not work for me.

Pros of Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon in Peach Magnet:
  • Looks like a crayon which I used to use in my childhood days (which helps me go in the memory lane)
  • Affordable
  • Comes with its own sharpener
  • Travel friendly
  • Beautiful Color (I wished it showed up well on me)

Cons of Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon in Peach Magnet:

  • Poor staying power
  • Gets transferred easily
  • Pigmentation is not as good on the lips (especially if you have pigmented lips)

Would I buy Peach Magnet again?

No! I don’t like this particular color and I would definitely not buy it again.

Do I recommend this?

For someone like me, with kind of pigmented lips, this color would be of no use and hence I won’t recommend. But, if your lips are not pigmented or you are willing to use it after concealing your lips, then this could be a beautiful everyday color.

    1. That is what I would have to do….:-) Hope that it will make my some other colors work or at least I would get a custom shade of my choice.
