Its been a while since I posted swatches 5 affordable yellow nail polishes on the blog. One of the polishes in that post was from Faces. Out of all the 5 polishes I mentioned in the post, the one I loved the most was this particular one and so today’s review is dedicated to Faces Splash Nail Enamel Sunny Side Up, shade number 51.
In the past one of my writers have also written about a few of Faces Splash Nail Enamels and she has seemed to love them too. The shades she covered in her post were Floral Dream(56), Hot Paprika (63) and Shanghai Shimmer (23).
Let’s get into the review!

Packaging:
These mini-sized nail enamels come in a small square-shaped bottle with a black colored screw-on lid. The lid of the polish is tight enough to make them spill-proof while traveling. The brush attached to the lid is decently sized, such that the complete width of the nail can be covered in 2 swipes. The name of the polish is mentioned on a sticker pasted on the top of the lid.
My Experience with Faces Splash Nail Enamel Sunny Side Up:
Color: The shade Sunny Side Up, as the name clearly indicates is a bright yellow colored nail polish with a regular glossy, non-shimmery finish. Though a yellow polish is not everyone’s first preference of nail color it is good for an accent nail, nail art or times when you are feeling too bored about your outfit.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation of the polish is decently well. Though it is not one of the plus points of the color. 2 coats of the polish are mandatory to give a nice streak-free finish to the nails, but even after 2 layers, the nail polish is not completely opaque. A third layer needs to be added in order to make the color fully opaque.
Drying time: The formula of the polish is kind of thin which helps it in having a great drying time. As 3-4 layers of the polish are required for a fully opaque color, drying time of just a few seconds helps in faster application of the polish.
Staying Power: This is another strong point about the formula of the nail polish. Being an affordable polish, I did not expect it to stay for a long time. But, surprisingly the color stays well easily up to 5 days without chipping or even fading (the additional layers helps in improving the staying power)
Overall Experience:
Overall, considering the price range of the nail polish and its formula, it is one of the best polishes available in the market. It is something that can be a part of everyone’s budget. Its range of 42 shades has something for every girl.
Pros of Faces Splash Nail Enamel Sunny Side Up:

Cons of Faces Splash Nail Enamel Sunny Side Up:
- This is not one of the most pigmented shades from the collection, though it is decently pigmented, a minimum of 3 coats are required to get a fully opaque color
