Essence Blush Up Powder Blush Heat Wave: Review and Swatches

Essence Blush Up Powder Blush Heat Wave

Blushes are something that can lift up any look from simple to bold. Blushes help to give our cheeks a healthy flush of colour and this is the reason I never go out without applying a blush. I normally go for something very natural looking but I do like to have some bold colours in my vanity. Today I’ll be talking about a blusher from the brand essence which is not only amazing to work with it looks beautiful too. What is so different about this blush? Essence Powder blush in ‘heat wave’ is an ombre blush. It has 3 different colours merged into each other which form a perfect gradient in the packaging.

My take on Essence Blush Up Powder Blush Heat Wave:

I love how this product looks, and this was the main reason why I bought this product. There are many similar products available in the market but this is amongst the more affordable options. The blush pan is packed inside a heavy duty plastic container, which makes it travel-friendly. The transparent packaging helps to make the blush visible from the top making it ever better to look at in the vanity.

As mentioned earlier, Heat Wave is an ombre of 3 colours which start from an orange shade and gradually becomes a pink. All the separate shades in the blush are beautiful but it is usually not very easy to use these colours separately. The colours at the two ends i.e. the pink and the orange can be used individually but only if a small sized brush is used. I personally like to swirl my brush in all the 3 colours.

Care must be taken while applying the blush as it is very pigmented. Also, it does have a lot of fallout which tends to deposit extra product on the brush. Extra product needs to tapped off before applying the colour on the cheeks.

The formulation is super soft to touch and easy to blend. It’s staying power is good too. The blush can stay up to 3-4 hours without touch ups.

Do I recommend this product:

Yes! It is a mixture of multiple colours, and for the price tag, it is an amazing quality and quantity.
