Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover

Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover: Review

I love applying nail polish, but I hate it when they chip or fade. Whenever this happens I always try to change my polish as soon as possible. This is when a nail polish remover helps. Traditional nail polish removers come as a liquid which works by absorbing the liquid on a cotton pad and removing the polish. But they might not always be the best option when I am in hurry or when I am traveling. This is when a pre absorbed remover comes into action. One such nail polish remover that I’ll be talking about today is ‘Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover’.

My thoughts on Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover:

Does this actually work?

Yes! the product actually works, and it works on every kind of nail enamel. I have tried removing a regular nail polish, a gel polish as well as glitter polish with this remover and it removes all of them perfectly.

How long does it take to remove the polish?

Glitter nail polishes do take little longer to get completely removed, but normal polishes just take few seconds. Dipping and swirling the finger just once does the work.

For how long does the product last?

Longevity of the product depends on the usage. As it is a sponge dipped in remover, it does have a shelf life. It does not go bad after few months, but the remover might dry if the lid is not closed properly or if used daily for months, the sponge might get completely covered in polish and loose its tendency to absorb or remove anymore polish.

Pros of Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover:
  • It does not stain my nails, even with darker colors like some other removers do.
  • Works well with any kind of polish
  • Handy while traveling
  • For me (who uses it twice a week), it lasts for more than 6 months
  • Easily available
  • Super easy to use
  • Saves lot of time and hassle of removing polish
  • Acetone free
  • Now it’s even available in 3 different fragrance options.

Cons of Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover:
  • Might burn if you have cut in the skin around the nails
Will I buy this product again?

Yes! This is my second bottle and as soon as I am done with this one, I am buying a new one.

Do I recommend this?

Yes! If you can afford it, then you should try this.

Do I absolutely need this?

No! You can try making something like this at home too. All you need is an empty bottle some sponge and a liquid nail polish remover. There are many DIY videos available on the internet that can help you in making a similar thing.

  1. THis is a cool idea! I’ve never seen anything like it before! 🙂 Nail polish remover can be brightly coloured and rather attractive to a toddler so I’ve been using the nail polish remover wipes which are just little pads infused with nail polish remover – I like them, but this looks like it would be fun to try 🙂

Hope you had an awesome weekend!
