Makeup Haul: April’ 2016

Hello Beautiful Ladies,

I was on a non buying mode since the past 2 months, at least as far as the makeup is concerned. But now, when I wasn’t able to resist myself anymore, I made an online order for some of the makeup stuff Let’s check out what all I got in my order 🙂

Many of you must already be aware about this Pouch, yes girls it’s the one that you get free of cost with every purchase of more than Rs 2000 on Nykaa.com, which actually means that all of the products I purchased is from Nykaa.com. I usually purchase my makeup from this site and thankfully till now I have never had an issue with any of the products.

Here is a glimpse of all the products I got 🙂

Starting my haul with the in house products of Nykaa, their nail polishes, I bought 4 of the colors this time. I already had 3 of these earlier, but as they are pretty affordable (Rs 149), I decided to try few more.

I am not a kajal person and so I do not like to spend much on kajal, but as I was in a need of a new kajal, I decided to try the one from Faces called, Faces Magnet eyes Kajal in Black, Company claims that the product lasts all day. I haven’t used it yet, but I am excited to try it and test the all day claim of the company. The kajal is priced at Rs 175.

Next in the line is Maybelline’s The Colossal Kohl Kajal in the shade Turquoise. I have already tried the black variant and I liked it, so I bought this one to add some color to my kajal. The product is priced at Rs 249 for 0.35 gm.

I always wanted to try the EOS lip balms, but unfortunately, I never got a chance to try them. The main reason I wanted to have them was their packaging and when I saw a similar packaging in Blue Heaven’s Lip Bomb, I immediately added it to my cart. These lip balms are available in 3 different flavors: Cocoa Butter, Strawberry and Bubble Gum. Though I wanted to order all 3 of them, but as I wasn’t aware about the formula I just ordered Bubble Gum. The lip bomb is priced at Rs 85 for 8 gm.

I also ordered 3 of the new Maybelline’s Lip Gradation. Though they are not as new for the market, they are pretty new for me. These Lip gradations are available 8 different shades and I ordered 2 of them. The shades I ordered were: Red 801 and Pink 2167. These lip products from Maybelline are priced at Rs 500 which considering the product is neither too high nor too affordable.

I have tried some products from the brand MUA and I have loved them, so I decided to try my hands on some of the MUA Luxe products too. I got bunch of products from this line including the 3 so called liquid lipsticks. They are not exactly called liquid lipsticks but they work as good as liquid lipsticks. The shades I ordered are:

1. MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Funk (Rs 700)
2. MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Zest (Rs 700)
3. MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Lips in Ritzy (Rs 695)

The shade of the Wipped velvet blush that I got is called Hedonic. These blushes are available in 5 different shades and are priced at Rs 695. I haven’t tried the blush but I have swatched it and I am already in love with the formulation. 

The last item that I ordered from MUA Luxe collection is a 10 color eye shadow palette called MUA Luxe Paradise Eyeshadow Palette. The palette is priced at Rs 1500 which I find to be little pricey. But as I ordered this during the discount period, I got it at a much lesser price.
