L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Gloss – Red Ravishing
Hello beautiful ladies,
Today I will be reviewing a lip gloss from L’Oreal Paris and the line is called colour riche le gloss. These glosses come in various shades and the one I selected is called Red Ravishing (157). I wanted to try these glosses since the time they came into the market but as they were pricey I never tried them. I always saw pretty models in the magazine using these glosses in the L’Oreal ad but somehow I never brought it. Then one fine day these glosses came on discount and I decided to try at least one of them, so I ordered Red Ravishing. I liked 2 more colors, but thought that I should try one before buying more.

My take on the product:
The gloss comes in a long squeeze tube with a golden cap. It’s kind of a simple packaging, but still it makes the tube look sleek and adorable. The main reason I wanted to try this was due to the tube.
Whenever I buy red colored glosses without swatching them, I always tend to get something which does not show up on lips, and the same happened with this particular one. I read the name Red Ravishing and assumed that it will have a decent pigmentation; I did not expect something amazing from this but the color did not even come out to be as I expected. It was completely sheer on my lips, and did not show any color. It looked exactly the way Maybelline’s Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss in Cherry Kiss looks.
Apart from the pigmentation, everything about the gloss is good. Its cute packaging and long tube attracted me. It’s very soft to apply and is very liquidy in texture. Red Ravishing has a candy kind fragrance to it. I almost feel like eating it, but as it’s tasteless I don’t actually eat it. The gloss does not look special on its own, but the shine it gives, can make any lipstick look special. The gloss stays on lips easily for around 2 hours. It is non sticky and very moisturizing.
- Cute and sleek packaging
- Nice fragrance ( some people may dislike it but I personally liked the fragrance)
- Liquidy texture
- Non sticky
- For a sheer gloss like this, the product is a little pricy
- Almost zero pigmentation
- Color cannot be built even with multiple coats
Would I buy this product again?
I don’t think I would buy this again. I might think of getting this gloss in some other color, but only after trying it at the L’Oreal counter.
Do I recommend this?
No I would not recommend this particular product as it looks exactly the same as Cherry Kiss which is priced way less than this product. And I don’t think that it is worth spending INR 550 on a sheer gloss.
