But, I’ll try to start again:-) Today I will be sharing my views on one of the products from the brand Laneige which was launched in India a couple of months ago. Laneige is a K-beauty skincare brand which is on the pricer side, but as it’s products are claimed to be really good, I wanted to try something from the brand. I bought the smaller version of ‘LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask’ as it was the cheapest I was able to find from the brand.

My Experience with LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask:
As I mentioned earlier, I wanted to try a product from the brand, but I wasn’t too sure about what I actually wanted. I went on to Nykaa in search of lip scrub, especially eyeing on MAC lip scrubs. But those products are ridiculously high priced at 1150. Yes, they too have some great reviews, but I was certainly not willing to spend this much money on a lip scrub. Then on searching further, I came across this Lip sleeping mask, which was a new concept for me. It intrigued my curiosity and as it was from Laneige, without second thoughts I bought the smaller version (this was the one in my budget).
Now, the first night I used this sleeping mask, my lips were in a dreadful condition. They were all flaky and painful. I honestly loved the tub of the product at it’s very first sight and I immedietrly had high expectations from it. As instructed, I applied the product generously on my lips and went off to sleep. The next morning I still had somewhat flaky lips but the pain was gone and my lips were kind of moisturised.
Liking the fragrance of the product, I reapplied it for the next couple of nights as well. After 3 nights the product completely transformed my lips. The third morning, my lips were soft, completely non-flaky and painless and were feeling moisturized and ready for the day.
This might seem to be a pricey product for 500 bucks but this is not just a lip balm, though I use it as a lip balm as well, but this is something way better than a regular lip balm.
Overall Experience:
I absolutely love this product. It does work the way it claims. The berry flavour, the way it makes my lips feel in the morning and even the cute packaging, I love everything about this product.
Pros of LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask:
- Cute and Travel-friendly packaging
- It makes the lips soft and completely free of dead skin only by applying overnight (depending on the condition of the lips, it might take 2-3 nights to make them completely smooth)
- Smells amazing
- Works as claimed
Cons of LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask:
- A little on the pricer side (The smaller version though is worth the money)
- Takes a couple of nights to make your lips soft and smooth
- The tub format might not be preferred by some
