When you have oily-combination skin, choosing a perfect clay mask according to skin type becomes a bit tricky because clay masks can be very drying at times. Being an owner of such an uncommon blend of a skin type I have had enough of trials and errors with commonly available budget clay masks. That is why this time I went for Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Bija & Tea Tree clay mask. Innisfree is a Korean brand that launched in India a while ago. Although this is my first purchase from Innisfree, everywhere in beauty world people are going gaga over this brand currently. My Experience with Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Bija & Tea Tree:

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Bija & Tea Tree is nothing but a small droplet shaped plastic pot filled with a light green color ready-to-use clay mask. There is a plastic cap in the opening of the tub to keep the product secure from contamination or spillage once you break the seal. The tub cap bears the name of the product while the full ingredient list and other information are provided in the backside. Overall I find the packaging to be compact, spill-proof and travel-friendly.

One pack contains the product for 2-3 uses that means you will have to shade around 50-60 bucks per use. Certainly, it is costly in comparison with our ‘desi’ mud masks.

The consistency of this face pack is medium. It is neither a drippy liquid nor moistureless and thick. It applies evenly to the skin and very less product can cover the entire face.

This mask has faint tea tree and earthy smell which takes no more than a minute to vanish. Being almost non-fragrant, this product will not feel bothersome or headache-causing.

I have used this mask once. I had applied a thin even layer and left it like this for 15 minutes. The pack did dry on my face within that time but did not show any crack marks. That means, it is not of ‘completely drying’ type. It was very easy to wash off the product from my face; no vigorous rubbing needed. After patting my skin dry I could make out a few differences. The face was not too much dry and there was a healthy glow to the face. Blackheads were very easy to remove. It shrunk my existing pimples to some extent. I did not experience any tingling sensation, redness or rashes after application. There were no new breakouts either.

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Bija & Tea Tree is a good non-drying clay mask which is suitable for all skin types except for extremely sensitive or dry skin. I would like to repurchase it and will recommend this to people who want a mini pack of tea-tree based mud mask.
