Inglot Nail Polish 370: Review and NOTD

I am fond of anything and everything that is coloured and nail polishes are surely one of them. Tough I loved funky and bright coloured polishes, there are sometimes when I feel like painting my nails in neutral colours. By neutral I don’t mean nudes but something that is bold and can go with any outfit. Today I’ll be reviewing one such nail polish from the brand Inglot. The shade I have today is No. 370. Unfortunately, Inglot does not name their polishes or any other product. So it sometimes becomes difficult to remember the colours with their respective numbers.

Inglot nail polish 370My take on Inglot Nail Polish 370:

Inglot polishes come in a square shaped glass bottle with a black coloured lid. The top of the lid mentions the number of the colour. The square bottle is further packed inside a cardboard packaging with a small circular hole in the front, which makes it easier to see the colour without actually opening the packaging. The square shape of the bottle makes them easy to store, as colour can easily be recognised from the top.

Shade No. 370 is a mauvy grey coloured polish, which has a high shine and looks absolutely bold. The colour goes with multiple outfits and is perfect for winters. It is recommended to apply two coats of the polish to get a completely opaque colour as a single coat may not only look streaky but is also not completely opaque. Applying two coats also helps the polish to stay longer on the nails. The colour is free of sparkles and thus is easy to remove. It does not stain the nails. Drying time of the polish is also good. I won’t say that it dries in few seconds but it does not take more than a minute. Though second coat may take little longer to dry.

The only thing, which I didn’t like about these polishes, is that they do not stay for long. With a polish priced INR 600, I expect the colour to stay for a week but this starts to fade from the upper edges of the nails in just 2 days. Tough they do not chip, but they might fade from the centre sections of the nails too in about 4 days.

Pros of Inglot Nail Polish 370:
  • Beautiful colour that can be worn with multiple outfits
  • Love the thickness of the brush (perfect for completely filling the nail in 2 swipes)
  • Perfect consistency (neither too thick not too flowy)
  • Two coats makes the colour completely opaque
  • Travel friendly
  • Square bottle makes it easy to see the colour even if the polish is stored in drawer
  • Toluene, Formaldehyde and Camphor free
Cons of Inglot Nail Polish 370:
  • Pricey
  • The polish has no names
  • Does not stay for super long without a top coat (especially if a single coat is applied)
Would I buy this product again?

I have almost 10 polishes from Inglot and I love almost all of them, if I’ll ever be able to finish this one, I’ll definitely buy it again but maybe in a similar colour.

Do I recommend this?

Yes! The price of this nail polish is on the higher side but for me, the product is worth the price.
