Dry Brush Nail Art

Hello beautiful Ladies,

It has been almost a week since I posted my last article. It was difficult for me to stay away from my blog and from all my readers but my bad health forced me to do so. But now, I am feeling much better and am ready to share some of my experiences through my articles. Today I will be sharing with you all a nail art design that I saw on youtube on the channel called Blush, and I loved it so much that I decided to redo the design myself. Though the design didn’t come out to be as good as I saw it in the video but as it was my first try I liked the end result.

So, why this technique is called Dry Brush Technique? This is called so, as the nail art design is made by using dried brushes. The brushes/applicator must be dry and free of any excess amount of product.

Here is what I recreated and the procedure to do so:

Polishes Used:

Step 1: Start by painting your nails white

Step 2: Select your first color and wipe out the brush of the polish completely.

Then wipe the brush onto your nails. Your nails would look something like this:

Step 3: Repeat the same with the second color. (I selected a bright blue as my second color, but this color unfortunately washed out the previously used pink color).Dry Brush Nail Art

Step 4: Repeat the same with the third color (this step is optional, the color I selected was way too light and it almost didn’t show up with the bright blue)Dry Brush Nail Art

After all the hard work your nails will look something like this 🙂Dry Brush Nail ArtDry Brush Nail Art

I am aware that the selection of colors in my first attempt went terribly wrong, but I still liked the end result. Though I agree that my nails look like they have played Holi 🙂

Hope you liked my effort 🙂

Thanks for your beautiful comments.
