Coloressence Satin Eye Shades Fire Desire

Coloressence Satin Eye Shades Fire Desire: Review and Swatches

Coloressence Satin Eye Shades Fire Desire trio comes in a sleek black box with a rectangular transparent section on the top; it makes it easy to recognize the colors without opening the lid. The box also has a small mirror to help apply the shadows if no other mirror is available. The trio comes with a dual-sided sponge applicator. The packaging is just average, but some points make it good for traveling.

My take on Coloressence Satin Eye Shades Fire Desire:

Whenever we think of a trio, we always expect it to have 3 colors that can work well together. Fire desire almost fulfills these expectations. The first color is a deep brown followed by a bronze and the lightest shade is a satiny shade of cream (which looks more like a golden on lids). None of these shades have shimmers, but they are not even matte. All the 3 colors have a metallic sheen to them which makes the trio perfect for functions.

All the 3 shades are highly pigmented when swatched on hands, but somehow they don’t come as pigmented on the lids. On hands, one swipe is enough for a beautiful color, but to get the same intensity color on lids, 2-3 coats are required. All the colors are smooth to apply and they can easily be blended (some of the colors may be lost while blending).

The staying power is average; they can easily stay for around 3-4 hours without creasing. I wanted to use the light color as a highlighter, but with so much shine on the lids, it did not look good. But if only the bronze and brown are used to create an eye look, the lightest shade looks stunning on the inner corner and on the brow bone, it gives the exact required thing.
One thing I was a little unhappy about was the fallout. To get the desired color intensity, I had to dig my brush into the pan 3-4 times, which made too much of the color to fall. Thankfully the fallout was restricted to only the pan, but due to this some of the product gets wasted every time the shadows are used.
