Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick In Pale Pink: Review

Hello Ladies,

Today I will be writing about the second lipstick that I bought from the brand Blue Heaven. The shade I reviewed earlier was called Sun Rise Orange and the one I have today is called Pale Pink. Both the lipsticks are very different from each other in the color but are very similar as far as the formulation is considered.

My take on Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick In Pale Pink:

The lipstick comes in a golden colored packaging which looks pretty good on the vanity when seen from far, but when actually felt by hand, the quality of the packaging is not so good. The lid of the lipstick is not very stable and can come off on its own, thus the lipstick is not very travel-friendly.

Pale Pink as the name says is a shade of pink with mauve undertones. The color seems to have a very small quantity of silver shimmer particles but they are not seen on the lips. The color is slightly on the frosty side, which I personally don’t like, but still, this is a perfect color for daily use. The color is nicely pigmented but is not as pigmented as Sun Rise orange. 2-3 swipes are required to get a completely opaque color on the lips. The lipstick is smooth to apply but is a bit drying. Using a lip balm underneath the lipstick makes it work well.

The color is easy to wear, but might not look good on darker skin tone beauties. When applied it feels a little sticky but not something that irritates me. The lipstick is transferable too which reduces its staying power and makes it a product with very average staying power. The color stays on lips after minor snacking but it can not stand a full meal.

Another thing about this lipstick that I would like to mention is the fragrance it has. Though the fragrance is not overwhelming as it remains even after application of the lipstick onto the lips, it might be a point of concern for some ladies.

Overall, it might not be the perfect lipstick formulation, but it is not bad for the price we have to pay for this. I do recommend these lipsticks for people who are looking for decent lipsticks in affordable range and even I would love to try more shades from this brand đŸ™‚
