Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Sunset Orange (02): Review and Swatches

Orange is my favorite color and so I love anything and everything that is orange. This applies for my nail polishes and lipsticks too. Though orange lipsticks are not always easy to carry, but I still love them. Today I’ll be talking about one such affordable orange lipstick from Blue Heaven. The product I have today is ‘Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Sunset Orange’. I have another orange lipstick from Blue Heaven and the shade is called Sun Rise Orange. Both the lipsticks have a very similar name but they differ in their formulation.

While Sunset Orange is a liquid lipstick formula, Sun Rise Orange is a regular lipstick. But the one thing that both the lipsticks have in common is their affordability. Both the lipsticks come under the 250 INR mark. Let’s get into the detailed review of ‘Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Sunset Orange’

Packaging:

Just like a regular liquid lipstick this one too has a doe foot applicator attached to the lid of the tube. But what makes the packaging of this lip color difference is the way it looks from outside. The outer packaging of the lipstick is such that, it seems like a regular lipstick which adds an interesting touch to the otherwise normal looking packaging.

My experience with Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Sunset Orange:

Sunset Orange is a bright orange lip color which might seem to be a red-orange in the tube but on lips, the color comes out to be true orange. Being a liquid lipstick the color is completely matte. But it is a little drying as compared to some other shades from the collection. Dry lips or chapped lips require a lip balm underneath the color.

The color is decently pigmented and I personally like to use 2 coats to get complete opaqueness. First coat of the color is a bit streaky but second coat does cover the majority of streakiness. The color stays put for a long time but oily food tends to break down the formula from the inner sections of the lips. Sunset Orange does not settle into the fine lines nor does it bleeds. The color feels very light on the lips.

Overall for me, Sunset Orange is a beautiful looking color, but I am not very happy with the texture. But for 205 bucks, this is something worth try.

Cons of Blue Heaven Non Transfer Lip Color Sunset Orange:
