Benefit It’s Potent! Dark Circle Eye Cream: Review

It is very important to use a proper CTM routine for glowing healthy skin, but do we always think about our eyes? With the modern lifestyle and loads of work, we usually are not able to get enough sleep, which ends up making our eyes looking tired and exhausted. This, in long run, can result in dark circles and even fine lines. Being tension free and having a good night sleep is very important to get rid of nasty dark circles. But there is something more we can do for the well-being of our eyes. We can regularly treat them with a moisturizing eye cream that can give some life back to the eyes.

Today I’ll be reviewing one such eye cream, which I have been testing for almost 2 months. The eye cream is called ‘It’s Potent’ and it is from the brand Benefit.

How to Apply:

Lay off the snooze button, gorgeous. Rise, then apply it’s Potent! delicately under the eyes.

Packaging:

This particular line has beautiful packaging, a luxurious looking glass tub with a cork look cap. Its outer green packaging makes it even more beautiful. I don’t like using products in tubs as they tend to get stuck into my nails and I don’t find them too hygienic, thus for this one, I always use a cue tip to take out the product.

My take on Benefit It’s Potent! Dark Circle Eye Cream:

I personally do not suffer from severe dark circles but I do have a problem with fine lines and dry under eye area. I did not have any intentions of buying a dark circle cream but one day I went to Sephora, to try some foundations. My skin was feeling super dry and to avoid cracks in my under eye area the SA applied this particular cream to my under eyes. She applied a thick layer. I wanted to get it removed immediately as it was burning, but she suggested that it is because of the dryness and once the cream would start getting absorbed into my skin, the burning sensation would go down and the cream would get completely absorbed. She was right. I went through my foundation selection and bought some benefit products too.

Benefit It’s Potent! Dark Circle Eye Cream

Now, Does this product actually work? It does! I won’t say that it can cure severe dark circles in just a few days but after using half of the bottle I can already say that I can see a difference in the color of my under eye skin and especially in my fine lines. Yes, this cream is meant for dark circles, but this works wonderfully for fine lines too. Consistency wise It’s potent is a cream colored thick product which actually is required in small amounts, if used regularly. I use it once every two days and I like to apply it liberally. It takes 5-7 minutes to get completely absorbed.

This cream cannot only be used to give yourself an under eye treatment but can also be used before applying makeup. In this case applying only a thin layer is suggested. The concealer or the foundation glides perfectly once the under eye cream dries completely.
